Do you believe in Astrology?
Like other occult sciences, astrology interested many important scientists and thinkers in history, including Isaac Newton, Dante, and Shakespeare.
Then again, many of the ancients rejected Astrology, especially Christians who thought that Baptism through Christ imprinted a fresh soul on the person and erased any astrological influences.
Recently, a popular news story came out ridiculing Astrology, saying that the signs of the zodiac were off by a couple of months.
This doesn't really disprove the theory that the stars influence mankind but people were quick to jump on it to make fun of astrology.
Personal anecdote and why I'm prone to believe:
I went to a speech by a famous astrologist in Washington, DC. While I was sitting and waiting for him to begin, a woman sitting a couple of chairs next to me caught my eye and said, "You're an Aries, right?" I was astounded and asked her how she knew. She said it was because I looked youthful and I would always look youthful (which is an attribute of Aries, the first sign and the sign of Spring).
Anyways, what do you think?
