Wow really??!!! Nobody's been happy or cheerful since me last night??

LOL ok, well I have another one to post, and yeah, it's about my dog again! I've just realized that pet stands for Personal Endurance Trainer!!

This dog makes sure I don't sit on my ass for too long and makes me take her for long walks. Lately I've been taking advantage of her natural energy to use her as an exercise machine. See the streets are really hilly around here and when we go any distance it pretty much makes me walk up and down crazy hills. With her pulling hard on me the entire time... I must be like a resistance trainer to her!!! Heh, she makes me walk twice as fast as I normally would and I keep her to about half the speed she wants to go (well, until I get in good enough shape to jog.. but that's another story for another day).

Last night we went farther than we have yet, up 2 big hills and down 2, with a couple miles of twisting and curving beautiful road in between. I was utterly wiped out by the end of it, but had endorphins surging through my system like I haven't felt for years, and today I feel fantastic (but sore!!)

And yeah, I'm pretty much like a male version of a cat lady - I'm a dog man. But dogs are bigger than cats and it only takes one to fill your life.

When I was a kid my favorite show was courage the cowardly dog <333 (too bad it only aired for 5 years (wait, maybe it was less)) I remember that would scare me so much but I've been watching them this morning and last night. I miss it so much lol

My dog is just as lazy as me, though, so no endurance training here (more like sleeping competitions )
But if you ask my pooch "Cocoa wanna go bye-bye?" She turns into an acrobat, jumping, begging, then scratching at your legs to make you move faster. Cocoa LOVES car rides lol. It will be insanely hot outside, but she happily waits in the car while I make quick trips into the store. And she NEVER complains. I tell her she's insane, but I bought her a water bowl for the car lol She rarely touches it. She seems perfectly content baking to death.

hehee... I don't remember what was popular in "my time". I didn't really get into TV until I had kids of my own. So Rugrats, Rockos Modern Life, Hey Arnold = FTW

Oh, everybody was saying dog cartoons, that's why I listed Underdog. My childhood was built on all the classic Looney Tunes/ Merry Melodies Tom and Jerry type stuff really.

Had a really weird day today - was only able to sleep for 4 hours, then got up and shuffled around the house like a zombie for like 6 hours, then slept for another 4. I still felt wiped out from that big workout yesterday, but now I feel like I'm recovered and twice as strong as I was. I guess my body was tearing itself down and rebuilding today. Those hills were a lot easier tonight.

Ha! That's so weird coz I inured my ankle/underneath it a couple of days ago and I had also injured it years before. It hurt the entire 8-10 years or whatever. But after healing from the injury a couple of days ago it feels better than ever. No pain at all.

It's weird the way you have to go through pain in order to get stronger... going from being a terrible couch potato to getting somewhat/sort of "in shape" reminded me of those werewolf transformation effects from movies!

Haha it is weird huh. I had the same feeling when I was playing soccer and exercising years ago. Just felt like I got huge really quickly. Even though I was still pretty small lol Just coz of my bone structure.

I just watched the season finale of Misfits. Not even my dear dog has made me laugh THAT hard. It was a great ending and I can't wait for the new season to begin!

I am VERY happy. I got my first NEW car. The title is in hubby's name, but I'm perfectly okay with that.
It's a 2011 Honda CRV almost hematite in color. Hubby paid a little bit more to get it for me because he gets everything in white but knew how much I love hematite which wasn't available in the lowest package. I told him white would be perfectly fine, but he likes the wheels on the upgraded model better lol
It handles amazingly well.

My daughter says it's not "cool" enough though. tough. I'm beyond pleased.

On my way back from the Farm, I realized I must have missed my oldest daughters Wednesday phone call. I found a 1-800 number from when my son stayed at the facility and someone actually answered!!!! I talked to her and she's starting to seriously consider being placed into "Independent Living" once she gets out of the facility.
She'll live in a dorm like setting and continue going to school, but the program will also help her get a job, a car, a place of her own once she's old enough AND they'll pay for college. The place she'd go to, though is 3-4 hours away (now she's only about 1 hour away).

I have REALLY been pushing this on her. (Without being too apparent) This is a really great opportunity.
The down side is that I wont see or speak with her as often (which is sparse right now to begin with).

My oldest son will probably be serving some jail time soon, my youngest daughter will likely get sent to a facility for a year.... and while those things are not GOOD in and of themselves, in the long run it will probably be for the best. They'll be given another opportunity to straightened out their lives.

By December, I expect to be alone with only my 17 year old son at home... which will be good for him without sibling drama and more one on one time with me.

WILDed THIS MORNING!!!!

I woke up at 9:30 and was like "I might need an hour more sleep".
Lay back in bed, thought that I wasn't going to be able to sleep again, because I wasn't actually very tired.
I decided to relax my muscles entirely, and I was just instantly in a dream. Easiest WILD I've ever done lol
Except for a few times when I was going to sleep and just ended up in a dream where I could barely see anything at all.

Unfortunately I slept more after the dream ended and woke up at 12:30 so I don't have that excited feeling I usually get from LD's.

I think WILD is my LD method of choice.

I'm so jealous! I don't think I've ever WILDed successfully.

Oh yeah, had a few LDs last night :p

University's awesome. My prof is real cool, she isn't uptight or anything, and she seems really passionate about her work. We get plenty of benefits like medical and dental coverage, theatre discounts, free computer repairs, etc so that's pretty awesome as well. I have to get the name on my student ID changed though.
