I've been into self-help type stuff since around 14 too. I guess it all started with an avid interest in psychology and the unconscious. I started meditating, self-hypnosis, thought awareness/ guidance, and reading about psychology to optimize my life ever since then. I have TONS of stuff that I've written down devoted to self-help lol like goals, schedules, quotes/affirmations, just to keep my negative unconscious inclinations from taking over the awareness of my better nature and it's goals. |
