Well I had a bunch of other usernames/nicknames previously but mostly everyone called me by my real name anyways, so I decided it should be my username. It's pronounced "terra", fyi. :3

And pansexuality is very much a thing. Why wouldn't it be? I don't understand how people are confused by this or think it's the same as bisexuality.

It's a question, Nina, not a statement; how could it be antagonistic? In fact I've already stated that I myself am uninterested in sex in itself; you think I'd make insulting remarks that'd apply to me? Good thinking. And the only respondent so far said they'd had experiences with neither gender, which is in itself interesting.

One would argue that if you don't want to have sex with them, it's because you aren't attracted to them. I think you are taking this as too much a personal attack.

Kinsey's study is pretty well received that heterosexual and homosexual are not true terms because you can't have 100% with orientation. There may be ONE person of your gender that you are attracted to sexually and you haven't met them so it would be 99.9%.

Hmm, ok. I must have read it wrong for some reason. Well in my case, both. Though 90% with males. Though had opportunities presented themselves, that number would be more like 70/30 to accurately reflect my preferences.

I don't think it brings anything new or needed and it sounds like an elitist way of identifying one's self to feel special.

The King. Kinsey or not, I just do not want to have sex with anybody, but that does not mean I don't find many people attractive in many ways. If I don't want sex with you, it does not mean I cannot find your intellect appealing.

I'm confused, do you identify as asexual? On page one you said hetero, but that comment made me think asexual. I'm dropping that other argument because I have nothing to back it now.

Spartiate, I just have to say that if you were on the chat with us when the idea for this poll came up I think you would see pansexual as real. Before that I thought of it the same as you do, but Tara had a fantastic explanation of it. Bi requires that the other person HAS a gender, pan doesn't care about gender, height, weight, race, ethnicity, it is literally ALL (including people who appear to be one gender but are biologically the other)

thankfully not 'pan' as in spanish for 'bread', guaranteed yeast infection.
