Actually though when you said that, it suddenly reminded me of the scene from the original Nightmare on Elm Street where the kids (including upstart noob actor Johnny Depp) are walking to school.

Yeah, it's from A Serious Man, quite a good black comedy by the Cohen brothers.

Though, a lecturer will generally cover that much space or more in 50 minutes. And in some theatres you can slide used boards all the way up to the top so it'd all be on display.

Looks like they got a genuine physics grad to write that board, the stuff is random but it's all legit. I'm currently doing quantum myself but the course is a bit of a mess.

In other news I really need a decent camera. The Hogwarts campus is a really nice subject.

it looks like residential Vancouver to me, just sayin. Also it's awesome in the fog. My dad said that when he was young and it was foggy he would have to climb the street posts to know where he was.

Every day i think about the fact that i have six small kittens with no mother to teach them.

With the weather getting colder, and no one to take care of them but me...it can get a little frustrating always asking but not yet finding homes for them.

But i have not given up hope.

And April is interested in one now, so i have decided to make a poster. One that advertises their ridiculous adorability.

It makes it rather difficult to lose hope with faces like these staring up at you.

This is the window right next to my bed...the silhouettes you can see are window clings of classic horror villains (Dracula, Frankenstein, Werewolf, etc) that I've had since I was a kid.

My Bird of Paradise is blooming. I grew up with these in CA and loved them. And I wanted to give them a try here in AZ. I have had this for a year. I have to bring it in for the winter. And I was really excited to see the bud when I brought it in. I wasn't sure if the conditions were going to be right for it to flower. So I'm really happy.

I was putting up Christmas lights today and needed to lift a plug cover to plug in the lights. I always find such fun things.

.. How the hell did the snail get up there?? Did spiders make a web crane and hoist it up? And why??!! Did it fall from above maybe? Bizarre..

I don't know how that snail got there. That plug cover has been closed for a long time (probably since last Christmas). The openings are only small enough for the baby snails. And I did kill the Black Widow. I used to be kind and let them live. But lately I've gotten tired of them being on everything I'm trying to get into or under, etc. I'm going to have to do something with all the snails too. I had waaay too many this year. It's getting worse every year. I think I have the only yard in town with them. So many people here have yards with rock and gravel. My garden is an oasis in this AZ desert.
