i desaturized it and saw nothing

I feel stupid...even after the hints I still don't see the 10th friend. Are we sure they didn't eat him?

actually, it's possible he was eaten, then his skin was put to use (is one way of looking at it)

i screamed when I finally found the man in the beans...it kinda freaked me out. Not sure why.

Actually this is what 'I' see !! I photoshoped the image to highlight the answer.

I found it (without the hint), but that's kind of cool. I thought the clothes looked kinda wierd.

the second picture on that gender-guessing site was FREAKING AWESOME!!

The man's head took me about 30 seconds to find, i think because I assumed you'd have to 'look back' to see it, rather that look really far in. So there I was trying to magic-eye the thing and there he was, much smaller than I expected him.

I thought at first that the 10th friend was some deformed being on the far-left guys clothes, it wasn\'t until the last hint that I saw it

Can anyone mod that bean picture for me so I can see where that friggin head is

OK firstly never mind; I've found it.

And secondly, yes it's to do with thinking outside the box and therefore the right side of the brain, IF you think (Spoiler) 'Hey the guy's face is actually going to be a bean' (Spoiler)or something like that. But it's equally as likely that the head will be the first thing you look at by pure luck, which doesn't neccessarily have anything to do with creativity, so this is a flawed test.

Ofcourse.... Many of the webpages about illusions also talk about their scientific aspects. Most of the scientific research they are claiming is the imagination of the artists. Yes I call them artists.

For example.. below is the 'famous' illusion of 9 dolphins. Lets see what the artist says. (Got from stumbleupon)

On the other hand, adult's mind is rather "corrupted" so adult person may have problems spoting 9 dolphins at first eye glaze.

But if you ask a child what you see in this pic, most of them say about two naked people. They are normal. Since normal human beings look at whiter parts of the image if the majority is dark in color. If the majority is white, they will look for the white. In this trick, the dolphins are cleverly hidden but the couples are outlined very well.

That was my clue... the lines crossed clothing. Removing the color allowed me to finally see how it all fit together.
