All (or nearly all) of our superpowers are impossible, but the problems with this one are glaring to me - I can't even imagine it working. If you tried to freeze someone in time and beat him up, his body wouldn't be able to move unless time was flowing... not even to feel the impact of your punches. All the other problems could be dealt with by being omniscient as well as having extremely detailed time control, but you really can't interact with a time-stopped object.

Time travel, though... It would have to involve teleportation, so as to not be in the same place at the same time twice, but combined with immortality it's basically total control of the universe. Except that you would eventually have a bunch of copies of yourself that you couldn't do anything with for fear of destroying yourself. My, that would take a genius to handle. OK, I'll take time travel, immortality, omniscience and a cosmic undo.

Uh... just the cosmic undo, actually. I'd never make a mistake again.

I would opt for any super power that gave me an excuse to say "Flame ON!"

Heh Cosmic Undo. Reminds me of the omega 13 thing in Galaxy Quest. great flick.

What's Omega 13? I Googled it and got "Nobody really knows what it does," but you seem to have some idea. I'll take whatever wild speculation made you mention it.

I was gonna do shape shifting so I could fly too, but I read through some replies, and I think Telekinesis is the better choice. you can affect stuff besides you

Shapeshift into a telepath.

Kill others at will.

You guys have GOT to watch Heroes. Its already out in America on NBC and quite a way through the first series and it'll be arriving on the BBC at anytime now. Out of all the heroes on that I will mention 2 names; Sylar and Peter Petrelli - admittedly I'd rather have Peter's power since it would mean a little less killing but really they are the same.

That said Neo's power to bend the rules is awsome too.

On a little more imaginative note I think I would want to be able to make all of my mental images a reality. So if I imagine that I am floating 3 feet off the ground, glowing with a bright electrical fire and causing smaller objects like cans an stones on the floor around me to rise into the air then that's what would be happening in the real world. Of course I could also use the power to imagine myself handing in the perfect coursework or drawing a picture the way I intend it to be drawn rather than drawing a picture which is limited by my abilities to draw various things.

Hell yeah @ Neo's power to "bend the rules."

One of the best damn shows on tv.

And as far as the mental image thing: better just make sure it's the power to, voluntarily, project those images. Haha. Otherwise, such as in dreams, any little impulse, fear, insecurity that pops up into your head could be, soon after, manifest, right in front of you.
That'd be a pretty shitty (or short, depending) life. Lol.

Point taken. Maybe the power to rewind things a little would help me with that.

I associate teleportation and telekinesis with obesity, as your mobility becomes almost completely unnecessary. xD

But the best ability to me in the Animorph ability. <3

I always thought that Magneto had the best power with his magnetic control. You could have some real fun, such as flying, reversing magnetic poles, or just throwing the earth out of orbit.

I don&#39;t know if I can explain this very well, but I want the power to manipulate inertia. That is, I want to be able to change the amount of energy it takes to accelerate something. So, if I get shot, I just take all the inertia out of the bullet, and suddenly it can&#39;t peirce my skin cuz it takes so little energy to decelerate it. Or I&#39;m jumping off a builing, I just remove all of my inertia, and I&#39;d land unscathed because I&#39;d decelerate instantly. Or, I&#39;m on my bike, and I drain all of it&#39;s inertia, and I can do 0-60 in under a second. It&#39;s kinda hard to explain, but I think that this power&#39;d be pretty wicked. Oh, I could also add inertia to things. So, if I throw a rock at you, but give it the inertia of the empire state building, it&#39;d go right through you, and the wall behind you, and so on. another really cool power would be Gambit&#39;s from the X men; He can change the probability of things happening.

An extreme version of Biomancy; allowing my to alter my, or anyone else&#39;s, body in any way I please and to any extent I please. I&#39;d put plastic surgeons out of business, I&#39;d have more fun in the bedroom then any one could ever dream of, and to top it off...If I don&#39;t like my look, poof I&#39;ve got a sexy new look.
