Yup. Give or take the $10 million that the missile to shoot it down costs.

I hope you're not suggesting what I think you're suggesting... if so, that's a bit of a longshot, in my opinion

Fed Reserve, poised to assfuck us all. **

M3 - money out there not backed by anything (gold). Fed Reserve stopped keeping track of this statistic back in March 2006. Why? Fed's say it was too expensive, hear what this economists thinks they did.

**Paper money becoming less valuable every day. Combine this report with what I posted earlier (post #48) and you'll start seeing the full picture.

      The Pentagon's Ray Gun

Anyone hear about this neat little contraption our gov's developed?

Yah, really appreciate all this development for "non-lethal" weapons. Nice to know you're so concerned about the livelihood of your 'enemies'. Umm... just wondering, why is it that you're using it to practice on anti-war protesters? Plan on using it on your citizens much?

(follow link, click on the "beating the beam" clip, look at the mock protesters they're testing on).

The situation in China with the Tibetan march could get really ugly. I find it such a shame that a culture that gave us such enlightening literature, philosophy, mysticism is on the verge of possibly becoming extinguished.

I find this story very relevant to our forum in that there are techniques specific to lucid dreaming that originate from the Tibetan Yogas. I wish them the best on their quest.

Young Tibetans reject Dalai Lama's lead

Tibetan People's Movement (map in which you can follow progress of the march).

I thought this was pretty amazing - there is technology available to regrow body parts. This guy regrew his fingertip, nail and all, after having it sliced off. Think of the possibilities! Make sure you watch the video too.

not so much disposing (just pee in a bag & shoot it out the air-lock like they did on the original Apollo missions), but recycling

If proper, manned exploration is going to kick off again, they need to recycle liquid waste
(there's no in hell they could carry enough water for extended missions)

they need to process urine back to drinking water

I think NASA's plan is to setup a base on the moon, and use it as a way-point for manned missions to Mars

Actually not so much recycling as just cycling--urine is full of small solids, and putting it through any system, whether to eject or distill, the number 1 problem is clogging.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

I dunno if there's a thread about it but still the fuel is continuing to get stupidly high with it being £1.20 a litre and expecting to go up to £1.50 by the end of the summer!

Also yet again there is another knife crime in England where the people got next to no time doing as a sentence. Also they laughed when the judge sentenced them. Luckilly the person survived despite suffereing from a 10 inch deep stab wound.

How did knives become such a common weapon of choice in England? I mean, I had heard a long time ago that "in England, not even the cops carry guns - so there are no gun crimes". But, I thought that was one of those "back in the old days" stories. I've seen news clips where there are armed officers. What's the deal?

Armed officers are normally specialists, not average cops. Like the equivalent of a SWAT Team.

There is gun crime, but it has infact decreased recently.

      Speaking of crime here........
