Thread: tell me what annoys you

Dunno if this has been done already, but...
I thought it would be interesting to share what type of stuff gets under your skin, the small things that most other people probably dont even notice or think about.

For me i am a prisoner of hangnails. i have to put everything on hold ,i cant think normally till i can get it taken care of.

And I will go totally batshit insane if there is a crumb or some other debris stuck to the sole of my foot. A common scenario is me trying to do something in the kitchen, and all the while, kicking or wiping my feet on the cabinets, or sticking them under the faucet every few seconds to get something off my foot. Where does this stuff even come from, i clean the floor several times a day, and still, loooool.

Awkward silences annoy me, because I get the urge to go, "Boy, that was awkward." and then it turns out no-one else thought it was an awkward silence at all, and I'd entirely misjudged the situation entirely, which in turn made it awkward from there on.

- People who eat and drink loudly
- People with no personal hygiene
- People who cannot spell, and grammatical errors
- The fact I get charged £600 a day for BIS resource
- People who cheat on others
- People who don't respect other people
- Dirty hands
- Odd socks
- Arsenal getting lucky 92nd minute goals
- My shares dropping in price
- Skiers getting in my way on the mountains
- The fact I only get 34 days off work a year
- People who think I might not be up to the job at work because I look so young! (Although I am fucking good at my job)
- People who go on and on in their "What annoys you post" lol

People who borrow cash from me to buy something really small, like some drink that costs $4. I then see that they have a credit and a debit card in their purse and I ask why they don't just use that. They laugh and say, "Pshh, I don't want to put $4 on my credit card." I say, "Why not?", waiting for a logical reason... and they just kind of mumble something incoherent, then change the subject very rapidly to avoid more questions of the same nature.

I hate that so much, I seriously am in a bad mood now.

Well now that you mention it...


People who use debit cards to pay for inexpensive items in a fast flowing environment (cafeteria ). It makes huge line-ups and it pisses everyone off, just carry a couple dollars at all times so that you don't have to punch in your PIN number for a freaking cup of coffee...

I just say, "Comfortable silence". That then confuses them more, deepening the silence. Allowing me to come up with a wittier comment about the situation.

It annoys me when I see girls flirting with the guy I've really really liked since I was 13 years old. Jealousy is supposably a form of obsession and NOT love, but I can't help being jealous. And I am in love with him, not obsessed.
