You aren't the old generation in the first place.

There is no new generation. The new generation arrives everyday. We constantly change. Large forums are often dynamic enough to handle whatever changes the userbase contains. Especially because this is a sensible forum run by (and containing) people over the age of 20.

When everyone dies, the internet will have evolved in a new manner. There will be no more keyboards, monitors, or computers. I'm sure they'll find a way to create artificial telepathy by the time we die.

There should be a "thread pending admin approval" feature locked onto your username before your threads showup on the boards. I must admit though...they are devilishly hilarious to watch.

For some reason this thread has made me rather depressed. I guess I don't like the idea of things in general ending (and yes, some days I get cold chills thinking about how one day I will eventually die). Becoming inactive on a forum feels like a subtle simulation of this and I certainly don't want to fade away so soon before getting to know the place and some of the people better. Unfortunatly I seem to be too much of a lurker and that just makes it too easy to forget to log on one day and never return.

And even easier for us to forget about you.
