Oh, my job. I do nothing right now because my boss drove me insane and I handed in my notice a while ago. I'm been doing nothing for the last three weeks. I'll let you guys know when I have a job!

I work for a school district and answer the Helpdesk phone. I'd say I know more than the average teacher, I'm by no means a computer expert and my experience with all of the programs and systems we use is very limited. Sometimes people will call and say, "I'm having problems with such and such and need it to take attendance/record grades/babysit the kids," and I just sit there thinking, "What the heck is that?"

So I either act like a switchboard and forward the call to someone I think can help them, or I type up a ticket for them. I always look forward to the nice easy calls, though.

"For some reason whenever I open Internet Explorer, it goes straight to the bottom of the page and there's nothing I can do!"

"Is there something pushing against your keyboard?"

"Um, no, I don't think so."

"Are you sure?"

"............. Oh..."

(That was my favorite... which I knew the answer to because of personal experience.) I also help out with the phone/voicemail systems for the whole district, assisting the Telecom analyst at work and pestering her at home (I affectionately call her "Mom"... cuz she iz.) Other than that, I spend my time finding new ways to look busy when I run out of things to do or get bored.

EDIT: Just for fun, I also love to write and probably have a couple hundred pages between everything I've started. I don't think I could do it for a profession, but it's my favorite "creative outlet."

Oh, yah. I'm also a ninja. And yes, I saw what you did there... and I'm telling on you.

My earlier post aside, I don't actually have a job, but I'm working on a few different things I can do from home. I've put bladesmithing on the back burner for a bit, until I see how our property issues are going to turn out--I don't want to build my forge and everything only to have to move it if things turn sour. I'm looking into turning a hobby of mine--photography--into something that will earn me a little money. Sticking with the theme of steel, I'm looking into getting into knife photography. I've got my lighting setup, and I'm letting the US government buy my camera (gotta love that stimulus package, even if they did cut it back down by half). I'm also going to start selling stock photography via the internet.

With luck, this will bring in enough for me to get by on, seeing as I have very few expenses currently.

Well I can't really say where I work. I always seem to chinx things when I say it to peole too. But here is a snapshot with my camera phone, which I'm really not allowed to have in the place. So I'll leave it at that.

I am still a student.(I'm just going to talk and talk about what i want to do when i leave)
I don't mind school though mainly because of the socializing part.
My electives is art and music and I'm ABSOLUTELY having a great time!
But there is so much pressure! i have no idea what to do when i leave!!!
I'm going to go to year 11 and 12 but should i go to university?
start my own business?
make a band and try to get somewhere?
sell my artwork?
i have got no idea! I'm still only young and I'm stressing over this!
next year is going to be so different because our school will be asking us what we want to do!

Actually I googled Staroon... they're a bedding manufacturer.

I'm now a photographer, webmaster, and web developer. I work for Pine Mountain Adventures photographing workshops and trips as well as running the website (which I designed), and I do freelance work as well.

I'm an intern at an IT company, but that's mostly just for knowledge and experience, since I barely make $10 an hour.

I sold a 300K company I used to own on December 12th, 2008. Shit was so cash.

I sit on my ass all day.

I work and study.

I teach classes of Japanese and Korean students English. The pay is alright, but really...I do it for the LOL'S.

As a student I'm doing post graduate course in International Studies.

I'm a statistic = unemployed. Currently my "occupation" is part-time writer, part-time jewelry maker, part-time cook, part-time housekeeper, part-time TV watcher, part-time sleep-in-er, part-time origami artist, part-time DVer, part-time philosopher, part-time barista, part-time go-fer, part-time pop can recycler, and part-time fundraiser.... and I don't really get paid for any of those for the most part, particularly the writing. I haven't finished anything, but I still enjoy it.

But seriously, I'm going to go teach English for a year overseas. I just bought a one-way ticket to California to go down to training in July. I doubt anyone's going to hire me for two and a half months, but I have to turn in my resume at places so I can collect unemployment.

Student, but I've worked on the family farm since I could walk.
