Thread: "The Shit Just Doesn't Make Sense!"

When I used to be hella into weed, I used to hate all those Above-The-Influence commercials. I thought they were ignorant, stupid, biased, and....man, I just hated those commercials, and the people who made them.

Now, I rarely smoke because I hit the gym on a regular basis and couldn't care less about such commercials (working out is my new release instead of getting high) plus I realized I was like, basically wealthy after I stopped burning on a regular basis, hahahaha.

what makes me really go WTF now is.....when a guy uses a totally obscene pick-up line or attempt that actually works, but shouldn't, hahaha.

makes me realize that you don't always have to be so conventional

1. Police officers who don't know the law.

2. With all of the incredible technology being developed today, why am I still using gasoline? It burns at what, 26% (give or take) efficiency for the average car, right? This question is rhetorical. I know why we still use gasoline. I wish we, as a corporate society, could move past that. It still makes me go WTF.

3. I don't get this particular commercial. It brings out every ounce of insanity inside me, and makes me want to do terrible things. Are these things selling? How are they selling? Do people really not know how to use a blanket now to the point that they feel compelled to order a cultist robe that comes with a free book light as a gimmick (the book light is another WTF in itself)?

I don't get why the commercial for "Symbacort" (sp?) has the person talking whose face we never see...they're in shadow the whole time...trying to be artistic?
Also, "Abilify" is a horrible name for a medicine. Sounds more like a verb than a noun. "Hold on, I gotta go abilify this thing really quick."

I laughed pretty hard at that one.

Apple. Apple just baffles me. Why do they sell computers for twice the price with the same parts? Why do people BUY computers for twice the price with the same parts?

Why does Monsanto insist upon butt raping farmers? Mosanto buys out all of the smaller seed and chemical companies so that farmers have no option but to use their overpriced product. I thought that the US had anti-trust laws for this sort of thing?

Why do people spoil landscapes by building new houses when there are more than enough of them sitting empty?

One thing that I wonder is why people watch those stupid shows where people renovate their houses. I honestly want to throw up whenever I one. They have zero entertainment value, use cheesy humor, and are downright boring and stupid. There are shows SO much better than this crap.
