      Virtual Haircut- Binaurual Recording. Super Cool To Listen To.

      Basically what it is, is a what's called a binaurual recording. It uses a dummy head, with two microphones by either ears. This picks up the location of all sounds being recorded, and gives the illusion of a 3-D soundscape.

      Now, what I'm going to tell you is going to make you suspicious... I would be too. But be sure when you click the link to turn the volume ALL THE WAY UP.

      Don't worry, this isn't a "Screamer", or a scary prank. I was listening to it earlier because I have it downloaded, and then again on I Am Bored, only to find the quality was less convincing. That's when I noticed it was at half volume.

      Turning the volume all the way up makes it more audible to hear teeny tiny little details.

      Honestly, it's kind of creepy. If you close your eyes, you can imagine the guys who are giving you the haircut and who own the barber shop walking around you. It's super trippy, but also tons of fun.

      I've listened to it about 3 times now, and it never ceases to amaze me. Hopefully there will be more sound files like this around. Till then, enjoy!

      I've already heard this on the Unknown Worlds forum while I wait for the release of Natural Selection 2...

      It's really amazing, just be sure to wear headphones instead of speakers.
