So, you guys are postin pics of your rooms, but can you answer my initial question too?
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Oh right. Hmm... I like my carpet. It's a pretty blue color. Even if it is covered in cat fur. And I like my closet, which has a sliding door that's a mirror, so basically a whole wall of my room is mirror.

@Tami: I guess you are right. I mean I do get stuff from my parents, and since I can't work full time by myself now, being only 16 and in school, I am a wealthy kid...

And to answer the initial OPs question:
I LOVE the view from my room, especially on a rainy night. My workstation which I posted is nice, but when my whole room is done, I think the best part will be chillin in my queen sized bed on a rainy night watching TV on a flatscreen.
And, hell, if I'm lucky enough, cuddling in bed with a future girlfriend with the fireplace going

I'd suggest we all ought to endeavour a round of monopoly or two, wallowing in money and brandishing our make believe investments, instead of frolicing freely in the rain, unspoiled and unmarred by these wretched desires.

Or you could, which would certainly be a more prudent option, stray from these weird notions descended onto my keyboard and materialized on this forum. In my head it's starting to incur on me as a bad idea.

That is a very dramatic description of a game of Monopoly.

Hahaha. I suppose so, even though calling it 'dramatic' would be short of an understatement. It was, however, intented to have a subtle meaning, but it seems my efforts were both hapless and worthless, so I guess it means I'm inept.

I completely understand what you are going for. sounds like a metaphor a modern day Henry David Thoreau would say on his way to Walden pond.
Step away from materialism for a bit and focus on what nature has given us. Basically, material things can come and go, and the world around us is corrupted by greed. We always want more and more, and with that attitude we will never be complacent with what we have. So just relax, slow down and focus on the more important aspects of life, like "playing in the rain" as you stated.

You have undoubtedly grasped the essence of what I was hinting at. This is good. However, in these times, it is close to impossible to follow this phiosophy through, thus rendering it void and forgoten.

Yes, I very much agree. Emersonian ethics of self-reliance are almost surely obsolete in our modern day world, mainly because society and institutions have strangled the mind's of people to make them follow the path laid out for them. Poe predicted this downfall of human nature due to societal institutions, Melville tried to make people understand and change, and Hawthorne knew it was too late.

People can't think for themselves, even in schools, everything is departmentalized, and everything is laid out for you, to help you get into college, and than into graduate school, and than business etc etc...

Even myself, someone who understands these ethics can't follow them. I think I want to, but I am so caught up in materialism and the sort, as you probably could have seen already by me posting in this thread earlier, and my posts in other threads.

Your meaning wasn't that subtle, Hyper. I'll leave you two to your philosophical discussion now.

Hmm... what I like in my room... what I like... I know! MEEEEEEE. I'm in my room!

No, really, I guess my favourite is my trusty stationary computer, and my sofa. That sofa is the only place to lounge about here. I'd probably go crazy without 'em

I love my king size bed, the white walls and the minimalist look to it. All my furniture is matching and wooden

wooden furniture is awesome. I have the same thing. Its light wood now, but we are getting all new stuff, since I just moved into this room, and I'm probably gonna get darker wood.

      - My bookcase where I stuff pretty much everything.
      - My bed because I stuff everything on one side of it, too.

Will see if can post pics. It's always a horrible mess so this'll be hard.

Most of my furniture is also light wood, except that one... cabinet? I'm not sure what exactly it would be called.

I love the peacefulness of it. This is at my moms house, and due to most of my stuff being at my dad's house, this room is always fresh and clean.

Sorry 'bout the quality, had to use a cell phone.

Your door is a wee bit skinny.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

I have two rooms, so ill take two things in each room.

In my bedroom, i am very fond of my large bed. Very comfy to sleep there in the weekends. (in weekdays, its uncomfortable, because i have to leave the bed very early). The other thing in my bedroom is a kick-ass drum kit. Dont have to say more about that.

In my "computery-music-room", i have a pc im very fond of, and a stage pano, wich is very practical when im composing music.
