Are you doubting that people want to learn or that she was blasting it? It sounds like your doubting that people want to learn, which is pretty fucking retarded. I know that sometimes this is true, that the majority of students in a class don't give two shits about what is being taught, but this is terrible situation. The whole point of school is to learn, if you don't want to learn don't go to school. I really think that for a country founded on the idea of liberty we have gone completely in the opposite direction in the last 100 years.

Sorry, but I use expletives when it's necessary. I'm fairly pissed off about the state of the American school system because I have 3 younger siblings in it and I see it's effects everyday. It's cool to be a dumbass in america.

-I- was one of those nerdy kids who never had any friends. well, maybe not nerdy per se, but definitely had no friends. in fact, I'm sure very few (if any) of the people who post here are/were very popular in school. we all know that the very popular kids end up either:

a. working in fast food restraunts and living with their mothers when they're 30, probably using the internet only for porn, or;

a. getting knocked up by several different guys and living in a trailer, probably alcoholic or addicted to pills (or both).

I know you're joking, but it's important to note that the popular kids usually end up successful and make a lot more money than you do. But think they end up working fast food if it makes anyone feel better.
