Love a little girl??

Okay, the title is VERY misleading... The thing is...

Last year I was helping @ a Vacation Bible School I mostly hung out with my friend when I could. There was this one little girl that we fell in love with this little girl. She called us her "buddies" and she was very sweet. I didn't love her like I love my girlfriend but I loved her like a daughter or little sister (I've only ever had brothers and I thought having a little sister would be awesome, but the doctor said my mom can't have anymore babies)

On the last day she gave my friend and I heart-filled hugs.

And later that day I cried rivers..

Because of this experience I really can't wait to be a daddy and hopefully have a daughter.

I was 13 @ the time and now I'm 14. Are these parent-like feelings normal for my age? I think I should be older before wanting a daughter. It's a good feeling though

First thought was that 7chan was invading DV.

Second thought was...have you considered some sort of community service thing where you could be partnered with a kid? Really, there isn't much else you can do at this time that wouldn't seriously fuck up your life. Being like a big brother or something wouldn't be bad, though....if they'll let you. Ask around, make some calls. At the very least, once you turn 18/21, they'll remember you and give you a call.

I'm jealous.

In your case I think it is perfectly normal, or if not normal, then certainly good even though that maybe not everyone gets that, at your age.
I don't think you should be older to want to have a daughter, just try to be older before you actually become a father, myes? :V
