Is it possible to become dependent on using them? I'm trying them for the second time tonight and I'm not too worried about that, but I'm rather curious. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

It's possible to become dependent on anything. Some people become enthralled to their routines very easily. For example, when I was a teenager and I first started experimenting with WILDs I was convinced for some reason that it would only work if I was laying on my back although I regularly lay on my stomach. To this day if I try to WILD I just don't feel right laying in my regular sleeping position. |

Thanks for the input; I agree entirely that people can become dependent on anything. |

Out of curiosity, what beats are you using? |

Delta or alpha, I believe. Can't remember which one. |

For me it's the opposite. Over time I feel I have developed a tolerance for some of the beats. I try to mix it up occasionally because of this. |

Yes. You won't be dependent like with a drug, but when it get the time to relax for you, it will be harder for you to meditate without such waves. You brain will get use to it and will want to wait for the brainwaves before starting to generate waves itself. |
