      B Complex

Hey, so Ive read here that B6 can help me with my dreams...

then I went to the Drugstore and found only a B Complex with the following per pill:

      b1 5 mg
      b2 2 mg
      b6 2 mg
      calcium panthenate 3 mg
      nicotinamide 20 mg

How much B6 should I take ? ( could not find this info ). And also I should take it with 2~3 day intervals right?

      Thanks for your patience

I thought that one pill or two was great.... but im taking a complex

found this site ( cant post links yet... ) telling me to take 250mg, isnt that much? Considering the fact that I would have to swallow a lot of pills ( LOL ) and also taking other substances together? Will not Nicotinamide make it hard to sleep??

      thanks again

      Hey there!

First off, 250mg of B6 is a high dose, but unless you're a sensitive individual you're not going to be putting yourself in harm's way. Just don't do it every night. And start with a smaller dose, maybe 100 or 150mg to see how your body handles it. I personally take B supplements every day and I feel awesome.

I take about 200mg of B6 before bed maybe once a week. 250mg is fine from time to time. Just don't overdo it and you will be safe.

Sleeplessness is indeed an unfortunate side effect of lots of B vitamins. You can combat this by taking some melatonin, L-theanine, or L-tryptophan before bed. If you don't feel like supplementing with anything more than the B complex, just take it 1.5-2 hours before bed and by then you should be able to fall asleep no problem.

Happy dreaming You're going to love what B vitamins do to your dreams!
