I think GABA already has a sedative effect, so I'm not sure if you'd need any melatonin. I don't think it's necessarily bad for you, but if the GABA can help you fall asleep on its own, then there's no use in taking melatonin, unless you're planning on taking the melatonin at night for REM rebound in later hours of sleep.
In any case I suggest you try not to take either of the two pills too often, because they may cause your body to build a resistance or dependency to them. I speak on behalf of melatonin only, as I've read people mention having had those effects, I'm not sure about GABA but it's always better to be safe than sorry imo.
