What supplements/combinations worked consistently for you to have a lucid dream and which didn't

I think the problem with most supplements is that because everyone's brain chemistry is slightly different, different supplements will work better/worse for different people. For example, galantamine + choline don't do much for me. Hence, I am asking this question to see what worked and what didn't work for other people.

      So, in reply please list;

What supplements consistently give you lucid dreams:

What supplements have not worked for you:

If you achieved LD with a combination or after several tries, please list them.

      Thanks!

I dont believe any supplements give you lucid dreams. Though some can help awareness and recall. B6 works on/off for me, some times I have a good long dream, other times I feel like it gives me a mental block of sorts. At what intervals did you take galantamine and choline? Also I see your from the UK, where did you purchase them?

For me, 2 products have worked. I am not trying to endorse them or anything and I am sure that other products like them are out there, but these are the two that work for me. Both are herbal teas and contain a ton of different herbs that I don't know all of off the top of my head so I am just going to post the names and you can look them up on Amazon to see what they look like (I would post the links but I have not been a member for long enough to do that yet ). Both are by a brand called Yogi Tea which at least in my area, is available at any organic market or grocery store with a decent health food section. The first is called Kava Stress Relief which I find drastically improves the stability of dreams making it easier to change them. The other is called Meditative time and it is by the same company. This one relaxes you and tends to allow your mind to unwind so that you can get to sleep or get into to a trance state easier. I find it useful when I am too stressed to meditate or if I want to initiate a WILD but am too hyper/stressed to do so. Hope this helps! PLEASE read all warnings and directions before you use them. Also I do not recommend using both at the same time or having more than one cup of either one before attempting to lucid dream or for any other reason for that matter.
      Sincerely,

      -Yozy

I went on the Yogi Tea website and found the first one, but I couldn't find one called Meditative Time. ...I was about to ask for a link, but then realized that you can't post them yet.

I didn't have much luck with the kava tea myself, although I haven't tried it for a long time and I used it to relieve stress more than to induce lucid dreams.

What has worked for me consistently is valerian. 450mg before bed gives me vivid dreams, although they are not always pleasant dreams. When I take 900mg with about 0.5mg melatonin, I have had lucid dreams about 50% of the time.

B6 works on/off for me, some times I have a good long dream, other times I feel like it gives me a mental block of sorts.
That happens with me too. It seems that if I take about 0.5-0.75mg of vitamin B6 I have lots of vivid dreams, but anywhere around 100mg or above it seems to interfere with dreams. Or at least with dream recall.

Yeah I think that there is no single supplement that works for everyone. At least we have a ton of different ideas here so someone is bound to get some ideas. I don't think that the majority of supplements are meant to be taken long term though.

Yes, I got the lucid dreamer ones. I have tried taking them before bed (to assess tolerance and make sure I would not have any serious physical reactions). I got some gastrointestinal discomfort the first time I took it. I have also taken them about 3 times after 4 hours of sleep. This has given me the best results but still nothing like clear lucidity, just slightly more vividness and some questionable sleep paralysis/floating feeling. Have you read the Yuschak book? He seems to think galantamine + choline is the bees knees but I guess no supplement is a one size fits all.

I am only about 45kg weight. I have tried Pyridoxin (vitamin B6) 3 times (30mg, 40mg and 40mg). I didn't have any LD these nights and my dream recall was worse than normally. Yesterday I tried Galantamind Starter (4mg Galantamine, 100mg Choline, 50mg B5) after 4.5 hours of sleep. I didn't fall asleep with it. I didn't intend to WILD, but I had intense HH. I tried and stayed still, but it ended after 40 seconds approximately.

I took 1mg of melatonin last night before sleep and I had a really long, vivid nightmare (the kind where you wake up in the middle as it is terrifying and lingers after you are awake). I remembered it clearly. When I fell back to sleep I had another vivid dream.

The second time I took Galantamind I had a very short WILD. Today I had a great DILD with apple juice (0.3l before bed + 0.1l WBTB).
