I'm a newbie to LD and last night tried isochronic tones for the first time. It was definitely doing something to me. My legs were still yet tingly, I had pulses of light and swirlies under my eyelids, and strange sensations throughout my body. I; however, could not fall asleep listening to it. Maybe it was too much anticipation, maybe they're better for afternoon naps...I'm not sure. Can anybody tell me if I'm doing something wrong with it. After using them, it was the first time in over s week I had zero dream recall.

Make sure you are using stereo headphones. (that means NOT EARBUDS.) secondly, you aren't supposed to fall asleep with them. i get an excellent effect by listening to them any length over 7 minutes at bedtime. when you get those "Light swirlies", try to imagine a landscape. try to BE there. and you'll want to listen to requencies anywhere from 4-7 hz. (Hertz).
