      Subliminal Messages

I downloaded and installed an app on both my home and work PCs to flash subliminal messages. I've been using it for about a week and it just clicked that a dream I had the other night was probably a direct result of this.

In the dream I was working on raising my awareness for the purpose of lucidity while dreaming. I had mounted a small light on the neighbor's garage that would flash and only I could see it. Somehow it was supposed to program my mind to become aware in a dream. Hah!

The problem in the dream was my neighbor was doing some work in his yard and kept blocking my view of it, no matter what window I looked out. Now it seems I have to set some kind of intention to recognize this as a sign and initiate a RC.

Just curious if anyone else has tried using this kind of app and if it produced any results.

I experimented with subliminal messages before, but not as a computer program. I used audio affirmations when falling asleep, for about a week, but didn't really notice any potential effect, and I quit due to the earphones causing discomfort in my ears throughout the night.
Never tried an app for the computer though, I'll give it a try, why not, it takes minimal effort and can only help with lucidity, however slightest, at least theoretically.

I tried audio affirmations too while falling to sleep using my iPad nano. I experienced much the same as you. Too uncomfortable and I couldn't get to sleep. I even tried a 10 minute silence at the beginning but anticipation worked against me falling to sleep before the messages started...

However what I have done now is record the same affirmations as I have in the PC app, and use them at the same time as complimentary and reinforcing. So since it's a disembodied message, I use second person, not first person. I also color-coded the visuals. Red for recall and blue for lucidity. I also don't mix them up. I have separate playlists for both the PC app and my nano and keep enough time between using one or the other.

EDIT: One clarification. The audio affirmations are not subliminal, but I play them at a low volume so I can hear them but they're not a great distraction. The video app is. It has parameters for duration, frequency and placement on the screen.

So you use audio affirmations? I'm gonna try to find a software for visual subliminals, like the type that flash on your screen for a split second, because I have some sort of other audio playing in the background most of the time (music/audio from videos) and I'm paranoid that might deteriorate whatever effect an audio subliminal might have, lol.

Yup, but the audio isn't subliminal. It's just recordings of me and the same affirmations I write/read/vocalize and the same I put into the app. I read somewhere audio subliminal messaging isn't nearly as effective as visual.

My theory is it can't hurt to reinforce affirmations using various technique throughout the day.

The app I downloaded can be found at MindOfAWinner. It's got a bunch of preprogrammed messages, but you can also set up custom messages.

EDIT: It's a free app too.

I might be wrong, but perhaps the effectiveness of the message depends on the person? Like how some people receive and remember messages better when they are visual as opposed to audio, or vice versa.
Yep, I downloaded the Mind of a Winner one too. Seems good, which surprises me because a ton of free software that seems too good to be true really is so, scamming stuff.

That's very possible about audio vs visual. I think perhaps a big factor is whether one believes they will work, and of course whether or not the target audience is predisposed to the suggestion.

Well here's hoping we are predisposed to it, lol.

I have Windows 10 and have not been able to find Subliminal Messaging Software compatible with Windows 10. All of the ones I have found are older and not compatible with Windows 10. Have you found any?
