      Smile

I am pissed of at autosuggestion!

for the past month, i have repeated the same phrase ver and over that i will wake up after every dream!! yesterdaywas even more convincing that the most convincing. and the results? NONE.

I want a freaking controlled LD, and the only way i can wake up in the middle of the night to do a technique is using autosuggstion.

Can you people please help me?! i am angry!

Try to be relaxed. Very, very relaxed. Imagine yourself waking up right after a dream in the middle of the night. But the key is to be extremely relaxed, and to accept the idea without question or thinking of past failure.

Also, try drinking a few glasses of water before going to bed. Three glasses works for me, waking me up twice before my final awakening. And usually I have a dream to write down, too.

I had the same problem when trying to deild.

My first bit of advice is to stop with the auto-suggestion!! Next time you go to bed simply let go, say to yourself I know what I have to do so I'll just leave it to my subconscious to sort out, not my problem. I've often found with auto-suggestion you can over do it and end up getting in the way, which is probably likely if you've been doing it for a month.

Now if that doesn't work (it worked for me but I have no idea if it's normal ) try something like this: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=45281 or any similar program with binaural beats. Using auto-suggestion when listening to these is really effective.

      Hope this helps

As I am on the Subject of Salvia today - I'll offer a potential application for your problem.

I think it's generally accepted that autosuggestion is best absorbed in a deeply relaxed or even
      trance like state.

My suggestion would be to smoke some salvia to quiet your conscious mind and try to imprint
your auto-suggestion in this state. I have personanally been experimenting some with this idea.

      Hobtoh: Whaaaaaaa?

Ok, noob question: Where can I buy Salvia? Is it even legal?

As for auto-suggestion, I think the word is synonymous with hypnosis. If you're in a open, receptive state, telling yourself to DO something will work. If one is in a combative, focused, and driven state, which is seems you are in skuruza, autosuggestion would probably be counterproductive.

Are you having problems with recall, or LD induction? As for waking up after every REM period, in theory EVERY time a person wakes in the night naturally, it's directly after an REM period. Why one wouldn't remember ALL their dreams due to this fact, however, is confusing. Still, I think the trick is somehow remembering TO remember during those small wakings.

Richter: Ok so you've never done salvia before. It is very legal. You can get it most bong shops. I warn you to take care in how much you use at one time. If you by chance do enough to "break through" than you will experience something beyond anything words can describe. The best way I can explain how intense the trip is is by saying that everyone... EVERYONE who has broken though that I know has never touched the stuff again or is very hessitant to use it again. And I know some very proficient drug users haha. It can scare the hell out of you and leave you questioning reality for quite a while. I just felt like I should tell you. The trip only lasts about 10mins, it hits instantly and leaves in a flash.

      Be wary of that plant

Salvia is a very strong Psychedelic plant. IT seems however that on some people it will have a profound effect while on others it has no effect at all (Like myself). It is legal in America, and in pretty much every other country to the best of my knowledge, and it's easily obtained. It is nontoxic and nonharmfull, yet it can give profound hallucinogenic, spiritual experiences that, for some, may be too intense for comfort.

I must say: Salvia, Mushrooms, DMT...etc all deliver a strong Psychedelic trance in which you are ALOT more open to pick up on Auto-suggestion: you're much more suggestable. However the Psychedelic experience is pretty intense and mental and therefor it is not for everyone: Some people will not like the effects at all and become terribly anxious. I've had a bad trip my first time doing mushrooms and that was pretty terrifying. I have continued to explore them nevertheless and have since only had wonderfull experiences with them. A female friend of mine who has tried it twice thought it was just too intense for her to enjoy so she never did it again.

All I can say is: If your Mind is open to the aid of Herbs and plants to become more open to autosuggestion, then Marijuana would be a better choice. The effects are mildly Psychedelic and mostly physically and mentally calming. The effect of Cannabis is rarely experienced as overly intense, known to be the most managable of mindstate altering herbs, while it can bring you in a very calm and quite significant state of trance.

However unless you're allready experienced with Psychedelic experiences I strongly suggest you don't try Salvia for this purpose: It has often been rated as the most powerefull psychedelic. I believe DMT and Salvia are on 1st and 2d place of Psychedelics if you were to measure their experience's intensity. I believe most people have experienced Salvia to be much more intense than LSD, allthough the effects are very different and much shorter lived. A couple of minutes I believe?

Please inform me about this plant. I've asked a question about it in the extended discussion section. I really wanna try it, but I've never done drugs(except a puff o weed once) What're the risks, and where can I get it?
      Thanks in advance.

Really, the best advice I can give is to go to www.sagewisdom.org and read. The users manual is very good,
giving sound advice on breakthrough methods as well as safety.

I have another post on salvia which is recent where I offer high level guidance on some other potential
      benefits.

Word of caution though. Salvia is not a starter drug. I would not suggest to someone to "start" with salvia.
The only reason it's legal is that it's so obscure. Very few people know about it. Even less peoplpe know how
to use it effectively. It costs federal $'s to schedule a drug. The FDA is not likely to ever schedule salvia, though
      some states have.

If you want more specific ideas, PM me - I'll shoot over a few suggestions.

Also, it's very easy to buy on the internet.
