      B12 and B6 question(s)

after randomly searching teh forums (i was bored) i found taht yes b6 does help with the vividness in your dreams when taken in supplements. i recently got some b12 supplements and wondered if they would do the same or better.

I was searching the forums for a thread on this topic so i didnt have to make another thread for a question that i thought was already answered but since i couldnt find one i made this.

The question is, stated in one sentance anyways,.... does b12 do the same , better , worse than b6 at inducing vivid dreams(or anything in the dream category) or does it do anything for dreams at all?

dosage: 100mg per day of the b12 vitamin

I've noticed that my DreamBoost supplements (from the Upstate Dream Institute) contain 100mcg of Vitamin B-12, which represents a staggering 1610% of RDA (I didn't work that out - it says so on the bottle). It does not, however, contain any B-6, perhaps due to the presence of 5-HTP among the other ingredients. So, apparently the "experts" believe that B-12 is very significant.

I wouldn't like to say if B12 is significant by itself in aiding lucidity. It may be in Dream Boost simply to enhance the power of other ingredients. In any case, although the product has given me some vivid dreams, I haven't had any lucid ones from it yet. I guess we just have to experiment for ourselves and see what works best.

Friday night i took B12 and i had some seriously amazing dreams (very Vivid). none were all the way lucid but a few were pretty close. I am not sure if it was the vitamin or just a placebo because I seriously thought it would work.

The next night i took it again but when i woke up i couldnt recall much anything. The fragments i could recall seemed pretty boring.

I am not sure if B12 helps at all but i set up a test with my friend today and we'll se if it has any effect on him. I told him that it will absolutely work so this will test if it was just a placebo with me or if it actually worked.
