      My first lucid dream :D

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my first lucid dream experience : ) . So it's crazy how it started, I was in some war. Like a modern day war, yet it was in starcraft 2 form. I found myself hovering over the other armies base and seeing them building all of these military units, and I was thinking "Oh crap"...so I try to get back to my base, then suddenly I'm on the ground and they're chasing me with like a gattling gun on the back of a golfcart or something. So anyways, I ended up dying in the dream and falsely waking up. After waking up (within my dream), I began to talk to my roommate about the Starcraft like dream... Thats when he tells me that he had the same dream. Then he says "Wait, are we dreaming now?" And if you've ever seen that movie "Inception", they have the reality tests that people do to test if they're dreaming. Well my roommate in the dream suggested I try to stand a writing pen at a 45 degree angle. When I did, I the pen stood perfect at a 45 degree angle. From then I realized that I was dreaming. I walked around and talked to people within the dream, for some reason I was at my roommates house. Then, after falsely waking up the 2nd time in my dream, I Immediately did my reality test and found that I was still dreaming. So I went outside to the street, and thats where the fun happened. It was SOOOO amazing to control my dream. I walked outside and it was running to the West, sunshine to the north, and Raining to the east. I could see where the rainwall stopped and began. The first thing I did was fly! I was flying around my hometown saying hi to everyone. It was such a blast. Then I finally woke up, feeling like I'd had the best night of sleep in my life.

When I woke up, I kind of knew that I wasn't dreaming anymore. But just to be sure, I did the reality test lol. Because honestly, when I first woke up, I wasn't sure if I was still dreaming or not.

I became really interested in lucid dreaming like 3 years ago, but couldn't do it after trying for weeks. Now randomly it happened last night! Hopefully I start to develop patterns...and I'm carrying that little reality test pen everywhere haha.

      Thanks for reading : )
