Last night I had a semi-lucid dream. I was flying, so I knew it was a dream but it was as if I was looking through fussy glasses. It's almost as if once I realized I was dreaming I decided to ignore that idea and go back to unconscious dreaming. Has anyone else experienced that? |

What Hiro said. If you do decide to dream spin, though, keep in mind what your surroundings are and don't spin too fast, just enough to see what's around you. You can also try rubbing your hands and observing the walls, feeling the texture of the floor in the room... Tactile stabilization helps me a lot. |

some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yet another technique that works for me is verbal commands. Say in a loud, clear, confident voice "Stabilize!" and "Sharpen!". I do this while looking at my hands. |

I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.
I can just hear George Costanza's father yelling "Serenity Now!" but in my case it would be "Clarity Now!" |
