Fourth LD Since Joining (Teleporting Sucks)

Alright, so, this morning I did a WILD and I kept thinking of where I want to go. I was thinking that I wanted to go to my Living Room. It took a while, but soon enough, I slipped into the dream.

      Dream:

There wasn't false awakening or anything, I was lucid right off the bat. I remembered I was trying to get to the Lucid Crossroads to find my dream guide again, so, I ran to my parent's bedroom door. I said to myself, when I open this door, I would be in the Lucid Crossroads. I opened the door and it didn't teleport me anywhere. It was my parent's bedroom with two DCs in it.

I went up to my parent's bathroom door, and said it again. I opened the door and it didn't take me anywhere again. Just my parent's bathroom. Then, I thought about going through the wall to get to the Lucid Crossroads, so, I ran up to the wall and... didn't go through it. Then, I heard some mumuring going on through the walls, so I decided to listen. Then, I realized I COULD go through the walls. So, I went through the walls to see who was behind them, but no one was there. After that, I lost lucidity.

      Dreams ends

For some reason, I can't get to the crossroads and I couldn't attain lucidity half the time. I was rubbing my hands throughout the whole dream yelling, "Clarity Now!" But don't worry, Dream Guide, I'm trying to get to you again.

I had that problem last night...I had a relatively unstable WILD, and the clarity disitigrated pretty much as soon as the door thing failed. I was really dissapointed xD
      just lol...

I was just going to comment that I read the same thing in your_mum's post, but he answered already, it seems ^.^

Doorways are tough, because your brain seems to want to accommodate what is really there in real life. It reminds me of a lucid I had where I tried the same technique with a closet door. I opened it once and got dirty urinals. Second time was kitchen appliances. I gave up after that

I've had two successful teleporting techniques...

      1) Spinning. This was scary though, because the dream spun around for so long, I thought I lost it. I also do not recommend spinning while in flight, because when I finally came out of it, I couldn't control my flying anymore.

      2) Closing my eyes and snapping my fingers. Many people can't close their eyes when dreaming though, so use at your own risk...

Same happened to me and i posted in an earlier post
and the good interpretation i found is that your brain draws your dream place and limits it, so once you get out of that place, the dream will fade out .

Well, essentially, your brain has to come up with new locations randomly. If you teleport to a solid image or location, you will have a lot more luck.
