Is this one above lucid dreaming?

Hello everyone. I am new to the site and felt my story should go under Experiences.

I have had lucid dreams for many years now, but this is something I have never experienced before. Any help or advice would really be appreciated. If anyone has gone through the same sort of thing, I would be happy to read any comments.

For a few years now there has been a man visiting my dreams that I have never met. All I know is that his name is John. When these dreams happen, it stops me dead in my tracks because I feel and know we somehow belong together. There has been romance, but no sex, at least not yet. Each dream is different, not recurring. The dreams feel so real at times, I feel like I am completely awake.

This is very strange for me because I am happily married Thanks for reading everyone.

I'm not sure how much I can help you, but maybe you could try asking him while you're lucid? Or you could use him as a dream sign and just enjoy the romance. Sorry if this wasn't much help, but nobody seemed to be replying, and since you're new to the forum I'd like you to assured someone will try help

      Hi,

Could John be representing someone from your past? Or an idea you have? Dreams do come up with all sorts of stuff that you would normally think was strange in real life. It could be a mixture of different things that caused the dream the first time and then because had such an impact, you keep remembering it in your sleep.

Do you actually know you are dreaming when this happens? If you do, you may be able to control what happens next. If you don't like the dream you can try telling him to go away and think about something else. I also agree with the previous comment. You can ask him who he is and what he wants. Your subconscious will give you an answer of some sort, played out in the dream. It might not necessarily make sense though.
Also, use him as a trigger. Next time you see him, you must be dreaming, right? Keep telling yourself this during the day, then when you next see him again, you'll think, oh, this must be a dream, then you are free to do what you want in the dream. It takes some practice to control things but you have every night to practice :-)

John keeps appearing, you say? Well, he can either be a dream sign, as progressing said, or he could possibly be your dream guide? If you have a dream guide already, remember, you may have multiple dream guides.
