Thread: First Attempt Last Night, Not Sure What Happened O_o

Hello all, I've been meaning to get into the world of LD, but never found the motivation. As naive as this may sound, I suppose I never really thought about it until last night, lurking around these forums. There's a really good community here, and if it wasn't for you guys, I probably never would've attempted WILD as I did last night.

So here's my experience/question:

I tried using the FILD, where you move the two fingers on your dominant hand up and down ever so slightly, while focusing on realizing I'm asleep/dreaming. I THINK it worked, I mean, the only way I can describe how I felt is "At peace." So calm, so relaxed, just blissful. I don't think I attained lucidity, but I did feel as if i knew I wasn't awake. I was sort of un-aware of my physical body, and just "At peace" with my mental one. It was a really enlightening experience, and I was hoping one of you could explain to me what happened.

I know what you mean. I took a nap today and I got to the point where my body was just not there and I felt so peaceful and relaxed. Then my phone went off.

Lol, it WAS really peaceful, but I still wanna know wtf happened. xD
