I love me some dream powers. It'd been a while since I'd been at 'Full Force' so to speak, but I got to play with my usual Dream Super-Power (Absurdly strong telekinesis... In on dream I TK'd the moon down into the Earth and pretty much destroyed the world, heh) last night.

It was a bit more odd than usual -- I don't normally 'Become' lucid in a normal dream so much as start out that way. My natural route is WILD-ish. I'm a night shift day sleeper slow-sleep insomniac, and very prone to SP/HH.

This time, though, I was in a plain old dream. Walking through a crowded building, like a mall or a supermarket. I noticed one DC out of the corner of my eye staring at me as I was walking by. Kind of an odd-looking red-headed fellow. He grinned and winked at me as I was looking back... He got up from where he was sitting and approached me. He opened with, "You know you're dreaming, right?"

Short bit of small-talk later, I got into a 'I wanna play with TK' mindset. Picked up a table, threw it through a window... classy stuff. Next thing I know, he's standing beside me, interrupting. Tells me that it's time to try something different, going on a telekinetic rampage is boring, etc. He "reminds" me that I can control electricity as well as physical objects with it.

Takes a bit of concentration, and I'm pretty much unsuccessful until I start to focus on a nearby television and where it's plugged in. I create a thick arc of blue-white lightning going from the outlet to the TV. Then, it arcs out and kills some hapless passing DC. There's some oddness about it being The Bad Guy with my same powers, but with my admittedly shoddy dream coherence, I'm more concerned about why the lightning didn't destroy the TV.

Red-head smirking DC's explanation is that I'm not sending the lighting "through" the electronics, I'm drawing it out "from" them.

At this point, the dude I zapped has stood back up. He's pretty much jacked up... He's standing in front of me with a 'Dead Guy' look about him -- Vacant, blooded eyes staring past me. Trickle of blood at his mouth and nose.

Dead guy mumbles something about how I've defeated him, and now must decide what to do with him. Red-head DC reads my mind; I'm thinking it's safer to just kill him more effectively and not worry about repercussions down the road (I'm drifting in and out of lucidity at this point, and my logic about 'the future' is flawed). Red says I should just go on and finish him. I restrain, and just leave. I wander around a bit more, shocking a few things here and there before I wake up.

Odd.
