False Lucid Dream or a real DILD with low lucidity?

False Lucid Dream Within a Dream? - Dream Journals - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource

This is the dream I had this morning. The night before, I tried to do dream incubation about practicing doing an RC each time I go through a door. Thus producing a lucid dream. I'm not sure if it had any effect.

I ask this because I didn't "feel" lucid like my last dream. I never controlled my actions. But I knew I was in a dream. Even so I still felt as if it was a normal dream, just with the premise of me being in a lucid dream.

Oh, and at first I doubted my RC. Maybe the dream plot caught on and incorporated it into the story.

I am amazed how the dream had me practicing lucid techniques when I don't think I really comprehended what was going on. Maybe the incubation almost worked (it ignored the door thing, though). I practiced doing lucid stuff. Even though I wasn't full lucid. I was still under the control of the dream plot.

I am amazed by the vividity of some parts. The grass stabilization part and the AT&T Uverse box thing part. Those were the most vivid.

Anyways, should I chalk this up as a DILD for me or a win for the sub-c?

EDIT: I shall retro-post a few of the dreams I haven't posted yet, soon.

The definition of a lucid dream is knowing you are dreaming, while dreaming. If you knew you were dreaming it is a lucid dream.

Control and awareness are independent of lucidity. I have had lucid dreams with no control and non lucid dreams with full control.

I guess so... I'll chalk that up as a DILD for me in my siggy and LD count, then.

I guess the lesson in here is about how easy it is to not have any control whatsoever. I guess I wasn't skeptical enough and the dream caught the control back.

I'm glad I'm making some sort of progress, though. Soon I hope to be checking off the LD goals.

EDIT: Oh, I think I made the few minutes, though, down in my siggy. It was a fairly long and detailed dream. AND I teleported. First on accident though.
