post your experiences with abstract dreams i.e. dreams in which your sensory world doesn't resemble forms you would expect to experience in real life. like last night i had a dream in which i was only experiencing the colour brown and the texture of sliminess, without a clear idea of where this information was coming from. It was like just existing in world where all you feel are these two sensations. interested to hear how other people experience abstract dreaming. good luck trying to describe your dreams!

dunno but last night i didn't remember my dream. i did atleast remember vaguely and noted i dreamed of dmt. for some reason i felt the need back then to write " Dream, dmt, natural" Dmt is abstract right. like completely out of the ordinary reality so i've heared. I just think it's interesting we both had abstract dreams last night. Even tho i don't remember a single thing :'(

nice point actually dthoughts. what we both experienced last night could have been dreams that focused on abstract concepts (for me brown sliminess and for you DMT and 'natural'ness) or we may have had full dreams in which these things played a part but they just happen to be all we can recall. i really do think the kind of abstract dreams i'm talking about do exist though. I'd actually quite like to experiment with having these kinds of bizarre experiences in lucids. You could induce a dream in which all that you feel is 'naturalness' and see what sensations/perceptions you end up having.

I have strange number dreams every once in a while... I'll take the form of a mathematical constant, a function, or something like that. I met the Dirac delta function in my dreams years ago... I wish I had that dream on hand. Anyway, here's a decent (short) example. The visuals were more like impressions than actual images. I was in an abstract realm of letters and numbers. The characters swirling around me rearranged themselves to spell out a message. “You were right.” They rearranged themselves again. “The range is 10 Hz to 16,000 Hz.” Yet again, they reordered themselves. “I am 30,000 Hz, so you cannot hear me.” The letters and numbers faded to darkness, leaving me alone. I got the impression that I was conversing with a sentient 30 kHz frequency... Strange indeed.

Thats an incredible dream Nephanim! i can't even begin to imagine what frequencies or mathematical constants might look like in a dream. ahh the unlimited potential of abstract dreams...
