This was a few nights ago, so I don't remember every aspect of the dream, But I do remember the part I took control of the dream. Just so you know, my dreams sometimes transport me to other locations without me noticing. |

Welcome to the wonderful world of lucid dreaming! Congrats on flying and on successfully apprehending an enemy! |

Short-term lucid goals: [X] Move an object with my mind [ ] Create a portal and use it to get to a dream scene of my choice [ ] Meet one of my book characters
Long-term lucid goals: [ ] Visit the Dream World Academy [ ] Make a building appear at will [ ] Change my appearance to disguise myself as someone else [ ] Find the end of a rainbow
That's a little like the experiences that led me to become a lucid dreamer: I watched Inception, fell in love with the concept and the movie-verse, and secretly began to want to have lucid dreams. A month passed, during which I wrote some fanfic. Then I started keeping a written dream journal. Another month passed. Then I became lucid in a dream, without having purposely intended to, and tried to control the environment in it. I was absolutely elated. Ever since then, I have been trying to lucid dream on purpose. |
