Huge breaktrough in my lucid dreams control

So whenever I had a lucid dream, wether be DILD or WILD, I always would start it in my bedroom. The deal is: the scenario was always dark, pretty dark, and I couldn't ever leave the house! Techniques like rubbing my hands helped a little or nothing, and dream control was really hard since I couldn't see a damn thing

As you can read by my first DJ entry, a dream character actually helped me doing it, in a False awakening where my mind forced me to wake up. I sensed it as a positive sign that my brain decided to cooperate with myself to make my lucid dreams bright and clear.

I mean....who's the boss in my dreams after all?!!

      You are the boss!
Are your dreams stable, I find stabilisation increases control, so try that (I know you said the hand rubbing, but try feeling the surroundings).
Have you tried conjuring a light, or expect it to be bright behind you. Have you asked a DC for a gift?
Also, try teleporting, I'm sure if you imagine hard enough you will get into a new dreamscape.
      Good luck!

In my previous Ld I tried that, I actually went trough my house on my knees, rubbing the floor/walls because it was very very blurry xD Teleporting failed in my first ld, but I'm gonna spin for a bit or interact with the DC's a bit more. Thanks for the tips
