First lucid dream

I've been trying to lucid dream for a while but I was never successful until now. In my dream I went to my friend's house and I had a look at his iPad. When I picked it up I could see a reflection of myself, but the reflection was of my friend. That is, because I was in my friend's house I was actually him. I then realised that I didn't feel different, so I looked down at myself and realised I was still me, the reflection didn't match what I saw when I looked down. It then hit me that this situation was simply too absurd to be real and that this was a dream. My friend was then suddenly in front of me, I started to tell him but realised I was wasting a valuable lucid dream so walked outside to do something. On the way out I saw my friend's brother and his ear was at a weird angle but I knew it was like that because I was dreaming. I had to go and do something with this dream but I didn't know what. I just knew going outside would be a good idea. I decided to make a hot air balloon appear in the sky. I figured if I just decided that it would appear. It didn't though, all I saw was sky and then I woke up. Not the most exciting lucid dream you'll hear of but I'm just glad to finally have one.
