      Three lucid dreams, same place in dreamland

      Last night I had after a long time, a lucid dream...

      I was at my old school (one of four places in "dreamland"), but I was 19 years old I was too old by 1 year (my walking life age is 53). There was a Scottish party going on where men have to wear kilts. I wasn't interested. Exams was also coming up, but because I had not studied I wanted to drop out. So I was going about the boy's boarding house looking for my suitcase. At some point I noticed something odd, and became lucid in my dream. I marvelled at the detailed wallpaper and scenery. After a few seconds I woke up.

      Then I went back to sleep, and dreamed I was at the same place, as if continuing where I left off! I became lucid again, and this time my lucidty was more stable and lucidty lasted for a minute. During that time I found a short tower on the first floor (said tower does not exist at the walking life school). There was a spiral staircase, for those who like detail it spiralled upwards anticlockwise, and the steps were painted pale blue. I started walking up but but noticed that there was only four steps and there was a ceiling. The steps did not go anywhere! I woke again.

      Third time, I returned to the dream, same place, and became lucid for third time. I looked at the details more, and tapped the white doorframe, marvelling at how solid and real it felt. Just as real as waking life! Held the lucity for about a minute before waking up.

      In the past I had tried to induce lucid dreams by DILD, and reality testing, but made no real effort and was not striving.

      Congratulations on the three lucid dreams. I had a lucid dream where I suddenly had decent stabilization, and it took some effort for me to wake up. I woke up, then I entered the dreamworld again, looking for my Dream guide.

      Seems you did DEILD like crazy there, and I guess when you're not too concerned about inducing lucid dreams and letting your mind create the scene for you, everything is smoother and less hazy.

      Good luck on more lucid dreams!

      Yeah, it does sounds like DEILD, and in my experience, when you DEILD, you usually go right back to where you left off in the previous dream, which is always pretty neat. Congrats on your lucids!

      Congratulations.

      My tip is to do a reality check before you go to sleep and at any waking point after you sleep.

      This is a sure-fire way to make sure you're dream, always reality check wherever you end up after going to sleep or opening them.

      Also here are stabilizing techniques;

      -Rubbing your hands
      -Telling yourself this is your dream and you control it.
      -Spinning yourself
      -Touching objects within your dream.
