      My first ''real'' lucid dream

I've had a wierd experience today.

I'm not that new to lucid dreaming, I've had like 15 of them in my whole life.
But I could never really stabilize them, so they wouldn't take that long.
These dreams felt more like a ''movie'', I could change the direction of where the movie would go but it still felt like I was just watching it from a crowd or something.

But today I've had a dream which changed my views of lucid dreams entirely.
I don't remember how I entered my dream state.
It could just be me sleeping on my bed, becoming lucid.
But I think I was already sleeping, and tried to lucid dream in my dream without knowing I was already dreaming.
This gave me some wierd results.

When I tried to dream, it felt my whole body was shaking, and trying to enter some part of my brain. (which should be where dreams are made)
For the first time in my whole life, I've had a lucid dream in which it didn't feel like I was just ''watching'' a movie, but that I was IN the movie.
It felt like we feel when we're awake!
I found myself standing in my own bedroom, but it was very dark in my house.
It also felt like I was in some sort of nightmare, even though I knew I was dreaming.
I closed my eyes and teleported myself to some other locations, like my school.
I also tried to do this without closing my eyes, but that resulted in a failure.
And after this, I let myself wake up.
Simply because I couldn't think straight, I didn't know what to do.

      Can someone explain this?
Or did someone have a similiar experience?
      Please tell me!

I've had an experience very similar to this.

When I was just starting with lucid dreaming, most of my (non-lucid) dreams were like watching a film, and my dream body was the camera. One of those dreams even had a narrator and ending credits.

After a while, I had a lucid dream where, for the first time, I was in complete control. I was standing in my living room at night, and I knew that I was dreaming, even without doing a reality check. Still, I tried pushing my finger through my palm, just to confirm that I was dreaming. Even though it worked, I could not believe that it was actually a dream. I was amazed by how vivid everything was. For example, I could feel the floor beneath my feet as I was walking, and I could feel the muscles in my legs with every step I took. Even now, months later, I'm still amazed by how realistic that dream was.

Before I had this dream, I had already made a large list of things I want to do in a lucid dream. But I still spent most of the dream wondering what I should do. I think that it's just hard to decide on something to do if you can do anything you can imagine.

Pretty much how my dreams are, only once have I actually thought "this is a dream : O" and then it faded to darkness....

Recall is pretty long and vivid but..... always just watching it from the crowd. Trying reality checks but i've not had much luck yet
