My Longest Lucid dream so far.

So the other night I had my 4th or 5th Lucid Dream. I was sitting at the local library outside on steps that aren't there in the real world, the library was also in a slightly different location. Across the street is an old school that i went to for 2nd grade, it is now currently my bus stop for high school. The school was in the right place. As I looked at the school i realized that there were prospect school.jpg

That is the school. Now imagine at the top of those stairs there are 3 ancient greek pillars rising from the top of the stairs to the top of that arch. I thought this was kind of weird, i looked away and then looked back and noticed one had disappeared. I also thought this was strange. So, i decided to look away and look back once more, at this time there were no pillars and i thought to myself, i gotta be dreaming. So i performed a popular reality check by pushing my finger through my palm and then i became lucid. I used verbal commands to stabilize the dream. I said "stay dreaming stay dreaming..." over and over, it worked quite well. I decided to exert some control and tried to summon the hottest girl from my school. It did not work, so I just continued through my dream. I walked up the road and all of a sudden my vision went completely black. I tried to open my eyes but I opened my real life eyes and was awake. I then lied there thinking exactly what i was saying in the dream, "stay dreaming" I quickly found myself back in the dream right were i left off. Then I decided to attempt to control my dream again, i tried to fly and failed. So at this point I decided to try and change my dream scape. I thought "I want to be in front of my house" It didn't work, however i tried it again but spinning 360 degrees at the same time and it worked, I was standing in front of my house. I woke up shortly after this.

Will do, I should probably work on prolonging my LDs but like anybody else I always want to jump straight into the action.

Next time when you get into a lucid dream, try to stay focused on the dream and not lose any focus, see if that prolongs it. I have seen prolonging results when I have done it.

Well done performing the DEILD (Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream) when you woke up! That's one of the fastest and (arguably) easiest ways to have a lucid dream, or keep them going! I've strung together 5 lucid dreams before using it!

In terms of your dream control and stability, I recommend using some form of stabilisation technique or form of awareness. Use your senses! Rub your hands together, try and take notice of the texture and feel of the skin rubbing together. Take a big sniff! Roses? Engaging your senses is one of the best and most reliable ways to easily begin to stabilise a dream, and help to make them last much longer

      Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I have been getting more and more lucids and I'm getting better at controlling them, still no crazy stuff but I'm coming along slowly but surely. As for the DEILD, that has been the absolute best technique for me, I did it for most of my lucids before even knowing about the technique and have had 2 lucids 2 nights in a row since I read about it
