Hello Lucid Dreamers! I'm very new to Lucid Dreaming, even though I did practice it some months ago. But yesterday at evening, I was searching the appstore, for fun, and found this awesome app called DreamZ. I thought about it, and tried it out. I recorded my self saying "your asleep" and so on, for the app to play it at every rem - As I were dreaming, I suddenly hear a voice, like it was from the inside of my head, telling me that it wasn't real life, it was a dream. I did a quick reality check, and found out I was sleeping. I don't remember much of the dream, because I woke up at 6 am, and forgot to write it down, so I just went back to sleep. I'm pretty sad that I can't remember anything else than trying to form a ball, and being at a beach house-thingy. Last time I had one, it only lasted 2 sec, before taking me into a false awakening. But yeah, this was my first real Lucid Dream, using a simple IPhone app. All I needed to do, was to record my voice, choose when the alarm should go off, and put it under my bed sheets to the right of my pillow. Can any of you tell me if this could work more than just once? Also I am very new, so I'm still trying out alot of stuff |

I have an IPod touch...would it work with that? Or does the IPhone have different sensors? |

Sleep away and dream a dream
Life is just a lullaby
right, I find this site mildly confusing... but am very interested in this "malarky"... I thought i had lucid dreams before, but nothing like this level before now.. I wasnt trying or anything but in my dream i was sitting in a hotel lobby when I noticed the floor bend beneath a mans foot. For some reason I immediately realised I was in a dream, but so did everyone else in the lobby. They all stared at me and the only thing I feel I can compare it to is the matrix (when the agents realise) if anybody is familiar with this idea.. the man walked towards me and I basically freaked out, tried to give the thumbs up as a gesture of peace and it felt as if I was raising my arms in reality (which really confused me). When the man reached me I woke up with a start, sweating profusely and adrenaline pumping I could not sleep for a while afterwards, afraid I had seen something I should not have seen... My friend told me that the "freak out" thing is a normal forst time thing? would appreciate any insight/opinion/guidline.... thanks |
