Exclamation Scary recurring element in every LD...

So i've only had three LD's, and in each one there's been a particular thing which keeps coming back, and that's a rat. Now i'm not talking about a little furry thing half the size of my foot, but a massive (i'd say about 3/4 the size of me) rat. It's always stood in the same position, on its hind legs with its back curled over and its paws/claws beneath its mouth. It never looks at me, it's always looking ahead, and i've never seen it move. It makes me feel... uneasy. Sometimes there's more than one as well.

Probably the scariest thing about them is the colour of them, their furr is black but it's not a normal black, it's night-black. Hard to describe, but it's like the darkest black which makes them look kinda evil. I was walking around my house and there were some in the corners, they somehow shine darkness... (asif light struggles to escape them or something that's how dark they are) if you get what I mean. Then in my other lucid dream I was in my bathroom and I saw one on the neighbours roof out of the window. So I thought 'FUCK IT THIS IS MY DREAM AND I DON'T WANT YOU HERE' - so I sprinted out the house and started to send shock blasts out of my hands. Directed towards it. First time trying that and nothing came out of my hands.

But it got knocked the floor, somehow, so I punched it in the side of its head a few times. Not once did it look at me or even react, just stayed perched in the same position. Freaky. Also it wasn't a rat that's just the best way to describe it cause it kind of looked like one, it's more of a monster/creature thing that doesn't exist in WL. I don't punch animals in the head... Then I just walked away and continued to explore my dream world.

Do any of you have any scary (or not) recurring thing in your dream? Or is it just me?

That's freaky. A few months back I used to always have a dream with this shadow creature which was a face-stealer. I'd seen it from a show I loved to watch, and it would be in my dreams almost every night for a few weeks. Anyway it was so scary, because I just knew he would steal my face, and he did. I got lucid eventually and stole back his face (which was my face by then), so I retrieved my face in the end. Lol. But yea those were some of the creepiest dreams I've had. And it was a shadow kinda creature so I couldn't touch it, while it followed me around.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Confront it when you feel ready. This creature is an aspect of yourself, a subconscious manifestation. Running from or attacking, will only strengthen it.

      Accoarding to Dreammoods:

"To see a rat in your dream signifies feelings of doubts, greed, guilt, unworthiness and envy. You are keeping something to yourself that is eating you up inside. Or you have done something that you are not proud of. In particular, to see a black rat represents deceit and covert activities. "

Next time you are lucid, just go to the rat and ask him what does it want, what is it doing in your dreams, is it waiting for something, etc. Generally, the best way to get rid of nightmarish creatures is to peacefully interact with them.

OP either ask the rat what does it want or run away
Well , for me and I dont know why , when I have a nightmare and I am aware that I am dreaming , I'm just like f*** it , and throw myself from something and eventually wake up

Most of my recurring elements are things DCs say to me. One of the big ones is when I say out loud I'm dreaming they will respond with "I know." in a bit of an ominous manner. There's also a girl who I'm starting to think may be my dream guide. I've never talked to her for more than a few minutes, and I've never gotten her name, but I call her Delilah.
