      My first lucid dream!!

Well, it was a half day so I went home from school early. I ate and decided to go take a nap in the afternoon. I wanted to try WILD during this time, so I tried to relax myself and keep myself awake while my body fall asleep. Unfortunately, my mind fell asleep as well. Although, I had an awesome dream; beating three people up with a cloth hanger then finding out that those three people were friends. Lol.
I then woke up for a few seconds, but quickly went back to sleep which my lucid dream started.

I woke up, sitting up on my bed as I took a quick glance at the clock then laying back down to sleep. But then, I quickly sat up again to look at the clock, to make sure of the time, but the digital clock was now dead; it was off. That's when I asked myself if I was dreaming and looked at my hands, it was really blurry and I felt like a vibration feeling which I realized that I was dreaming! I was excited, the vibration was getting stronger for some reason, but luckily, I quickly reminded myself to calm down. I started rubbing my hands together and slowly spun my dream body on my bed. I tried to get out of bed, but it was really hard for some reason. It was as if there was weight on my body, I couldn't move. I tried to grab onto something, but I couldn't, I looked at my right hand which was gone; it was invisible. That's when I started to think of scary things, I saw a random guy's face and stuff, I eventually stopped myself from thinking of scary stuff and I was finally able to get out of bed. Before going out of my room, I looked over at this snowman display figure and tried to use telekinesis, and it worked! I managed to bring it to my hand. I went out and called my brother, he came immediately, and showed him this. I slowly floated the figure in the air. He didn't say anything, but he was shocked. I ran down the steps and into the living room, I was about to go outside, but I tested it once more. I motioned a vase with flowers forward to me and I did it again. I was so happy and excited, but I calmed myself down as much as possible. I went downstairs to go outside, then I saw my mom doing something and a giant giraffe stuff toy standing in front of the door. I was like, "What the heck?" I then went outside, calmed myself again because I was starting to get too excited to fly. The steps were wet, so I just ran and jumped as high as I can. I didn't fly, but I slowly floated down back on the terrain. It was awesome. I started running, I see people outside my neighborhood and though, "Wow, these are all dream characters." I then ran as fast as I could and jumped again; slowly floating in the air. I thought hard of moving forward which I did move forward, but slowly, eventually I reached the roof. I was still so excited, but here's the thing. When I launch off to fly, I close my eyes, so I told myself not to because I might actually wake up. I jumped off once more and made it back down, jumping again to fly, but this time, I closed my eyes and when I opened them again, my waking eyes opened. It sucked, and even though it was short, it was a really awesome experience!

I was happy when I woke up and quickly wrote this down on my dream journal. I was just so happy to feel what it was like to be lucid. Now I want more and practice to fly! And definitely other things! :'D

That's awesome! I had my first Lucid dream 3 nights ago. It wasn't near as good as yours thought. Mine was about 10 seconds long. Since me and you are newer we should talk and go on our journey together congrats!

      Good job man!
Did you wake up and then immediately go back to sleep only to find yourself in a dream after a very short time?
If so, you did a DEILD which is a very nice method that also handed me my first LD which also happened during a nap.

Again, nicely done and i hope your LD's will be plentiful.

      Regards, a fellow SAO fan.

Very nice first, congrats! Yup, when you close your eyes, you lose contact with your dream and you may wake up. Just be careful not to think like this with other things, because it will wake you up wheather it's tru or not. You will wake up, if you believe so. Happy dreams.
