      Smile Oh

      So basically, I just had my 7th lucid . It was a DILD. I've been doing reality checks from may till september. And I've quit doing that because, it didn't help at all. So I've quit doing RCs from september until 2 days ago (a long break). I've started doing reality checks again, and after 2 days (last night). I achieved a DILD. It was quite cool. So I was standing in front of a mirror and I noticed something odd about the shape of my hands. So the first thing I did was a reality check. I've tried to push my finger through the palm of my hand.. And BAM LUCID!! I was very happy and excited. The first thing that came to my mind was: "don't be too excited otherwise I'll wake up". So I calmed myself down. And I knew I had some goals to do when I become lucid. Like things I just really wanna do. But I totally forgot about them. A few seconds later, I got this weird feeling in my stomach. And I got sucked out of the dream. But I didn't wake up. Everything went black and I just kept on sleeping. I had this feeling that it was quite early at night. Like maybe after 3 hours of sleep. I woke up at 7.15am and I've recalled 3 dreams including that one lucid dream. So I've got 2 questions;

      1) Why didn't I remember my goals I wanted to do in my lucid dream? Like seriously the goals are so easy to remember. :L
      2) Why did I get sucked out of the dream? I calmed myself down, so it couldn't be due over-excitement. And I didn't wake up aswell. Is it possible that I was at the end of my REM Cycle? What happened there?

      Thanks

      -Crashyy

      I can see you sleep through your bedroom window. You're killing yourself with lucid dreaming.

      Sometimes lucids just happen like that. Next you have a lucid remind yourself that everything is made by your own mind, you are fully aware it is a dream, and everything will be gone once you leave. If you can get that much done the dream becomes alot more stabile and you will have a clearer memory of what to do.

      Alright thanks for the advice! I guess I can also use a mantra, like: "Next time I'm lucid, I'm going to remember my goals." Something like that.

      1) I had that problem in the first few of my lucids. What I do is when I go to bed at night I look over the goal(s) I want to do.

      2) That happend to me recently as well! There are some things that are out of your control like getting sucked out of a dream. What I do though is turn that into a positive by using DEILD Sometimes though that won't even work and I have to throw in the chips.

      Omg that's an amazing idea, turning it into a DEILD. If this happens to me again next time, I'll be doing that for sure. Thanks!
