After abandoning all hope, I finally got lucid.

I recently started trying to lucid dream again, my doing the occasional reality check and starting another dream journal. I was kinda slack on both of these things, and had given up due to impatience and lack of moral.

But last night, as I fell asleep, I simply told myself "I will have a lucid dream, I will have a lucid dream..." over and over again.

      Well, I got lucid.

I remember having two dreams before I got lucid. On the third, I'm not sure what made me think I was dreaming, but I came to the conclusion somehow. I was at work, in a warehouse, and began running around touching shelving and racking in an attempt to stabilize it. (The dream was constantly "clouding over" which I think is a sign it was unstable) I remember trying to think up a teleporter, so that I could teleport to somewhere else, but it wasn't happening.

Eventually whilst running around, I ran through a door. Things suddenly got very quiet, and I calmed down. I felt like I might have "lost the dream" so I did a reality check. My finger went right through my hand! (Side note, I always pictured that my finger would go through as if my hand was a hologram, but this time I actually pushed through, you could see the skin break and everything! gross!)

I immediately felt the rush of excitement and rise in heart rate, and jumped out the nearest window and attempted to, you guessed it - fly. I got pretty high actually, hovered for a little bit, then started to fall. That's when I woke up.

It was pretty amazing, despite the fact that I got too excited and should have taken it a bit slower I think. Hopefully this means more LD's in the future!

      Great job, morgs! Congratulations
And now you know what to do next time it happens. Best of luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
