      My first true lucid dream

K, So im following this site for about 2 yrs now but never posted anything. ive learnt many things frm here.I owe u guyz a lot, so I thought i should share my first LD xprience nd how i did it..
I Had downloaded the lucid spike tone from the isotones site(45 mins).
I slept for about 5 hours(No dreams) and woke up at 3....I played the tone on my laptop wit skullcandy speakers(no subwoofers) and tried to sleep, all along instructing my left brain to stay active(according to a suggestion in DV.I was pretty relaxed and slept real quick..
And then it started! It was nothing xtra ordinary,It was a very normal dream about a day in college but had unprecedent detail..I quickly realized it was a dream when my teacher entered and began to strip!
Idid a quick RC,which confirmed my lucid state.
I Was not too excited to wake me up bcoz i listend to the RELAX, & Deep meditation iso tones before going to bed(From the spiritual section of iso tones).
I Attended lucidity & had tremendous control on the dream.I Knew im in a dream all along, and evrything was so vivid.Whatsoever, i cudnt do any abnormal things, like flying, walking over the water etc..Evrything was awkwardly following real world physics.(may it was placebo).
But I Did enjoy myself and will try again today.
      .

Congratulations!!! And good to see you finally registered

I'm really happy for you. I know you might not have done some things like flying, etc., but it will get better the more you have them. Now you are even more motivated to become lucid because you now know the feeling!

      See ya around!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      THANX
      I did try flying
      But,
It seems i cant do any UNREAL things in my dreams..i am clueless why. Moreover my dreams seem to be extremely unstable & as soon as i try to use dream powers, the dream fades off...And i seem to loose lucidity in the dream but continue in the same dream non lucidly...Is this common?

Yes, it is common to fall back into a non lucid after having been lucid. It takes practice to keep yourself aware and to fly. The more you stick around here and the more you Lucid, the better you will get at doing unrealistic things. Congratulations.
      I Dreamed a Dream
In it, saw people I've never seen
      Gone places I've never been
And done things I'd do again.

Because you just said that you couldn't.The only reason I can fly in my dreams is because I know I can.
You don't need to learn to use dream powers (some of them will take more practice than others).
You can do them. Just do them.
I know that sounds vague, but it's not. The sooner you stop telling yourself that you can't do these things, and just do them, without worrying about it, the sooner it will work. (Not applicable to dream powers that require strong dream immersion, i.e. changing scenery, spawning people, and time travel.)

      Congrats on first lucid dream!
Yeah, it's fairly common to not have much control during first lucid experiences, but the main thing is that you have enjoyed being lucid, keep trying and also follow sloth's advice.

Ok so I had another Dream, Where i found out that it was a dream & i was lucid throughout....but the sad thing is other than that, i didnt have any control whatsoever in it.
I Just thought thru out dat, ''Just relax! Its Just a dream. Nothing will happen to me....So let go''
Other than that the dream was completely autonomic!
