Thread: Was this a lucid dream?

I slept normally with lucid dreaming on my mind but i wasn't really trying to induce it that night. Anyway, it was a normal dream except i was aware it was a lucid dream sort of. It was like whatever i thought of would happen, for example I was in a car with this girl that i like and i thought shes "gunna kiss me" and then she did. But i wasn't really controlling it, it just happened as i thought of it. So was this a lucid dream? If so how can i increase my lucidity because it was vivid and all but it just didnt feel like real life

If you knew, during the dream, that you are dreaming, then it was a lucid dream. It usually is pretty clear, when you realize you dreaming, that it's a dream.

It's possible to have a regular dream with some control, as you did. And not all LDs are vivid and realistic. It all depends on your level of awareness.
