I like this exercise because I find it harder to count down and up, and I catch myself counting up while doing it. By the time I got to 20, I was seeing small swirly blips of light and hearing voices as I was counting. I am not sure what kind of disorder it is, but I hear voices on a regular basis but am not influenced by them, and I hear them when I approach sleep much more localized and vividly. When I finally reached 1, I reaffirmed that I was going to get up and slowly opened my eyes and sat up. I found that an hour and a half had transpired, which startled me. I felt like I had only been doing it for around 15 minutes, and there was no apparent lapse of consciousness. Has anyone else experienced this?
