      Talking to my reflected self

Recently I had a beautiful experience of lucidity, somewhat philosophical.
I was dreaming to do several things but was not lucid. Then, in the dream, I walked into a room that had a mirror with my reflection.
Then i became lucid. I thought, "I see my reflection in a mirror in a dream ...? Never had happened to me."
So I started testing some reality checks. I looked at my reflected hands, looked into my eyes, said my name ... I noticed that the body was different than mine. It had some similarities though. Another thing I noticed was the movements. They were not coordinated with what I did. So what I decided to do? I went inside the mirror to the other side (the reflected side). My "other self" was amazed and I started talking with him:
      Me-"Who are you"?
Other-"I am me and you are you. Where do you come from?"
Me-"From the other side of the mirror."
      Other-"So I am you, too."
Me-"But you're not making the same gestures as me. This body i see is not mine. It's different."
Other-"When you dream about your mother or your grandmother, is their body also different?"
      Me-"Hmmm ... No..."
I was thinking about this question as the dream was fading away. I saw a little light and a little sound as if to say that the dream was over.

      Beautiful experience pal!

In my opinion your subconsciousness was talking to you through your reflection.

It could be because you trust yourself more than anyone; I know this sounds a bit weird lol
And that's why your subconsciousness got into that body.

For the meaning of the dream you are the only one that can find out what was meaning by searching deep into your subconsciousness.

I would suggest the next time you lucid dream to try to speak to your reflexion again

Couple of times i have also looked into a mirror in LD and my face just was mutilated and terrible. Only once i have met myself, it happened when i had an false awakening and i rolled to the floor. I saw my self under the bed in the dark with nothing but boxers on and then he (ME) assaulted me.

Today, when becoming lucid, i remembered to try this again, but i didn't like the results.
I was outside watching my reflection on a building's window, but didn't see much. So i entered the building to find some mirrors. I entered on a wc and saw me on the mirror. I was evil-looking, with red eyes, pointy teeth and an evil smile. I talked to this "other me" but he didn't respond. So i entered the mirror.
On the other side, i found another mirror with another silent "evil-me" slightly different. Tryed 2 more times, with no sucess. With this frustration, i woke up.
I guess it was not a good day to do this. Or i was not mentally up to this.

From the stuff you have told me I believe you were scared or nervous or not sure about what was going to happen when you talked to him.

Because of that he turned into a devil. Try to become more confident and realize whatever happens you can always wake up
(some times, there are times when I am lucid dreaming that I have problems waking up and I stay until I manage to)

You are right. On this dream i was a bit scared because i was hearing steps, someone was stalking me. And i had a bad dream the same night prior to this lucid one. So yes, i was not confident enough.

Thats cool Around 2003 I had a dream that I was talking to, what was myself, but the "me" I met and spoke to in the dream, was older, happier, wiser, a little fatter, and had blonde/brown streaks in her hair. She wore black slacks, a red blouse and was confident and encouraging me. I realized about a month ago that here in 2013, I am the me I was talking to back then!

Wow. If you are right and if i was talking to an older me, then, i like what i saw. Because it was an older me, maybe 15-20 years older, and apparentely in a good health and in shape.
