Thumbs up Another great WILD :D

This morning (or actually yesterday morning, seeing how it's 04:30 AM right now) I had another amazing lucid dream using my WILD technique. As explained in my technique, these types of WILDs always begin in the place you fell asleep in, in this case my bedroom. So the head vibrations began, along with the extremely loud buzzing noise. As soon as this starts happening, I'm veeery happy because I use it to LD. Now I just have to "hold onto that feeling" and not let my mind wander. So as usual, after about 10 - 15 seconds, I began seeing my room through my eyelids. The image became sharper and clearer. Just when it felt right, I move my dream body, and get out of bed.

So as usual, I was levitating, walking through walls, interacting with several dream characters etc., until the LD transformed into a non-lucid dream.

This time my awareness of real life events was simply astonishing, including details about what I did before bed, the days before, etc., even my future appointments I was able to recall. At first I tested myself by recalling the current date as well as several phone numbers! I was able to recall everything correctly. The funny thing is that I was slightly pissed off during the lucid dream, because I set my alarm clock to wake me up in an hour, and during the dream I kept "wondering" if it's gonna wake me up and interrupt my LD.

Either way, I have to set some goals for my future LDs, because whenever I become lucid, I don't know what to do first... so I do many things bit by bit, and then I lose lucidity.

Have you tried writing/typing your goals right before going to sleep/nap and/or repeating them as mantra? If not, i suggest to try it, i had same problem myself until i started doing it.

It also happens to me, why is that so ?
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

That's not the problem. I have the goals in my head, but it's just the excitement of knowing you're in a dream and wanting to try out 100 different things.

It's hard to explain, but it's an interesting topic. I don't know why that is, and I also don't know why the head vibrations occur, but in any case, WILDs are awesome. It may have something to do with expectations.

I don't know.. but in my WILDs during the vibrations I always begin seeing through my eyelids. If you google "seeing through your eyelids" on Google, there are many discussions on this topic, related to lucid dreaming and astral projection.

Although I strongly believe that more than 95% cases of astral projections are actually nothing more than lucid dreams - WILDs.
