      Talking Most Vivid Dream Yet

This was my most lucid and vivid dream I’ve had so far.It started off in a plane, it seemed like it was crashed inside of a hangar or building. I was talking over a headset to some people, saying that I was in a crashed plane. I got out of the plane and went towards the doors of the hangar, which were closed. I found a gun leaning against the door, only to realize it was a BB gun when I picked it up. I started to realize at this point that I was dreaming. I found a smaller door so I wouldn't have to open one of the big ones. I walked through it and told myself I was dreaming, which is when I became completely lucid. I was afraid that my lucidity would cause me to wake up at this point, but I stayed in the dream. Instead of using the gun to fight whoever I would have had to, I decided I wanted to try flying. So I pretty much changed my dream and started flying. It was one of the most real feelings I’ve ever had. I could feel the air moving around me as I flew through the air. I realized I was flying over my college campus, and started to fly towards one of my friend’s buildings, As I flew to her floor there were a bunch of people having a party on that floor. Instead of opening the door I decided to try and walk through it. I ran into the door and wasn't able to walk through it, and some guy started to laugh and call me an idiot of trying to walk through a door. We argued for a bit and then I woke up. Overall it wasn't the longest dream I've had, but it was probably the best. Just the feeling of actually knowing I was dreaming and having enough control to start flying was amazing. I don’t even remember doing a reality check before I became lucid, either, I just knew I was dreaming.

Also, do you believe once you have one good lucid dream, it becomes easier to recognize and have other dreams?

This is a very good sign IMO. what induction technique did you use ?

i think it becomes easier , otherwise it would not be a skill, specially after your 5- 10 LD. After that, i got more confident and less stressed with failure ( you know: why didn´t you notice that ? why are you so dumb when you dream ? oh no, grrr )
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

      Congrats!
I became lucid a bunch of times without reality check or dream sign, sometimes we just spontaneously get aware of dreaming state.
As you get more lucid dreams and as you keep practicing it will get easier to have them, but vividness is a good sign too, it means your awareness was higher than usual, which was also the reason for spontaneous lucidity, and more awareness = more chances to get lucid.

It gets easier for most people. I'd say the more time you spend exploring the dream state, the more familiar you become with it, and the more you recognize when you're in it.
We may guess that in dreams life, matter, and vitality, as the earth knows such things, are not necessarily constant; and that time and space do not exist as our waking selves comprehend them. Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon." H.P. Lovecraft

Sorry for the late reply. I used MILD with a WBTB. I had to wake up around 6 to register for classes, I was up for about 15-20 minutes then went back to sleep. I figured I hadn't tried a WBTB before so I did that and it seemed to work.
