      First LD Experience (I think)

Hi everyone, I have been on this site for a couple of weeks now and just decided to sign up.

I had what I believe was my first lucid dream last night and I was hoping someone might be able to confirm that are not.

I've had plenty of dreams before where I can fly and things like that but I'm never in control of it some dreams I can others I can't. I have a very good imagination and I'm sure this helps with lucid dreams.

So last night I went to bed as normal (I have been keeping a dream journal on and off)I was over at my friends house and we were in his back garden and I noticed someone at the window, I was pretty scared and was starting to wish I was in a dream which must have prompted me to realise I was in a dream. It was as if something clicked and I could do what I wanted, I hovered up to the window and was thinking this is the most amazing experience ever. However as I started to fly higher I could feel myself falling out of the LD. I started to rub my hands as I read that it helps stabalize the dream, it went black and then suddenly I was somewhere completely different. It was the most vivid experience of my life I could see everything and it was so colourful almost like a cartoon. i had been reading up on this and know that you should try and use your senses as much as possible to stabalize the dream but I couldnt help myself. I was suddenly in a large city with tall buildings and wanted to be able to web around like spider-man (my favorite superhero). I managed this for maybe two minutes jumping from the tallest building and webbing around the other buildings. Interesting thing to note, the web only came out of my right hand. I started to ignore the fact I was in an LD and stopped thinking about reality checks and before I knew it I had fallen to sleep properly.

I'm sorry for this bulk of text that I haven't proof read to see if it makes sense. But I am very excited by this and hope it happens more often.

      Thanks

      Nino

      Congrats on first lucid dream!
Yup, it was lucid dream, since you were aware that you were dreaming, and that's what lucid dreaming is.
